I am having a hard time hearing. can she talk louder? or move her camera so I can see her lips? Thanks.
Voice of speaker drops and gets soft sometimes … difficult to hear then

Tonglen. At first when you described this form of meditation I thought you had certainly reversed what it was all about. I’ve always learned that we breathe in goodness and breathe out the toxins and that which holds us down. The concept of breathing in the toxins and releasing goodness to those around us is at first confusing. I experimented with this new concept during out break.... it strangely felt right... and empowering. .....
breathing in darkness is for me different than breathing in real pain, world pain. A couple times that I've tried to do Tonglen with life and world pain, my heart feels ovewrwhelmed, i almost run away
i also didn't know where to find joy to breathe out
You can let it go, ruth
I was blown away by her writings on hope and hopelessness. Again it seems opposite to what I believe. Could you say a little about that.
Can you put everyone including phones on mute
just a note - today, I found I had to set volume very high on my computer, to hear the speaker much of the time
I tried expanding the chest area, as you just suggested. Different experience. thank you!
I like the suggestion of wishing spaciousness for hearts... It takes away the difficulty of intercessory prayer as a feeling of me telling God what to do... as though God needs my nudge or advice! I'm very grateful for this option
What a great image: using our bodies as intercession!
thank you! so much to think about and do....
