A hot wash is a type of debriefing or review session after a response event or exercise.

01:06:00
Juliann, what is the performance management system you use?

01:06:21
Thank you, Juliann, for your honesty about QI and performance management. I feel many health departments are doing the same, and I agree there is nothing wrong with pausing those formal efforts during this time.

01:06:42
Agree - thank you for saying that!

I'm wondering how each of you have been able to address health equity through your pandemic response efforts and in what ways has PHAB accreditation helped you in those activities?

01:13:44
So glad to have such great folks in public health. Thank you for taking the time to talk with us today. Take care.

01:14:33
Great question...I'm wondering how each of you have been able to address health equity through your pandemic response efforts and in what ways has PHAB accreditation helped you in those activities?

01:14:46
The recording of this webinar and a Q&A document will be made available to everyone.

01:21:07
lol

01:21:37
Did the governor's office give you an answer?

01:21:50
Thank you for being so honest about your challenges. I am an Iraq Veteran and over the many years following deployment, letting things go is very important. Finding joy is important. Getting mental healthcare is SO important. From a public health standpoint, I believe we will need to scale up efforts across the board to address mental healthcare, especially for young children. The follow on future co-morbidities that cascade from the Pandemic and other things that are occurring to our government will be quite an effort. I believe the most important role/s will be anyone involved in workforce development and capacity building/training , communications and workgroups that monitor preparedness and response. Again, thank you, and I wish each of you well.

01:22:25
Thanks to your honesty I feel like I can breathe through the rest of our accreditation process and not try to get everything done

01:23:10
Thank u Kevin

01:27:39
Annette, Juliann, and Kevin---thank you so very much. You are inspirational leaders! Thanks for so effectively showcasing your departments' pandemic response and the connection to accreditation and performance management.. Paul Kuehnert, PHAB CEO

01:28:35
Given the duration of the pandemic, what do you feel are the challenges and opportunities better connecting emergency response and performance improvement, which are connected, but covid has shown could better integrate practices?

01:32:16
I would also say that when you are a border community with another state that strong partnerships and communication pathways are important to address population health, especially for the vulnerable populations.

01:32:53
