prior to COVID, my son was in public school preschool...had to write his name (took 1 hr out of 3 hr day) before participating in other activities..he was distracted and when he made an error and wanted to correct it, the teachers dissuaded him.we haven't done jot it down projects yet but have implemented our jot it down journal and are recording his wonderful voice even though he's still not super interested in writing yet. we're getting there but are encouraging and spending time on his interests and he's just blooming!
Julie Bogart

I purchased Arrow for my 11 yo. Do you think I can use it for my 9 yo voracious reader? Or would Dart be a better fit?
Shannon Temple
50:07
Do the past discussions (past darts) stay up on the brave learner home ? I’m finishing up the last 2 darts from the last year’s, year long program
Dawn Smith (she/her)
50:23
That’s wonderful, Emelia. The Dart book list is so delightful! Such a joy to select those books!
Stephanie Masters
50:50
We de-schooled for a LONG time and during that time the ONLY thing we did were One Thing Challenges.
Julie Bogart
50:55
Shannon yes. You can search for the old Dart discussions.
Heather Hitchcock (she/her)
50:55
Johanna, when you click through to your account, you should see a Brave Learner Home button at top. Click on that and the main page will come up and Community Coaching will be on the top row, second from the left.

51:43
Thank you!!! I need to work on using ALL my available resources
Danna Zeiger
51:45
Also, where do I find one thing challenges?
Gavi Wyatt
52:04
Do I remember correctly that there aren’t any parent “meet ups” for the high school parents or Slingshot program parents, but it’s being looked at? It would be a great help for those of us homeschooling our high schoolers.
Julie Bogart
52:05
The One Thing Challenges are on the main dashboard
Ruby CRUZ
52:14
That is amazing I am new to it so def happy to hear about this
Dawn Smith (she/her)
52:38

Emelia Stark
01:01:49
not sure if anyone new feels this way but when I joined I was a little bowled over by so much wonderful info and felt like I needed to watch all of the webinars ...then a coach reminded me that BL is a library and the coaches are librarians, there to help you find the material that's relevant to you at that time. take it one thing at a time is their mantra and it's so helpful.
Julie Bogart
01:01:51
Everything Jeanne is talking about is included at not extra cost.
Heather Hitchcock (she/her)
01:01:51
Nadia, the replay goes up within 48 hours, minus weekends. An announcement is made in Community Coaching when the replay is up
