My eldest son has always been a fussy eater and I'm thinking it may be because I introduced fruit more at first? My youngest I started with veg first and he eats nearly anything I give so far which is a relief but wanted to know how I can get eldest to start taking more variety of food?

I have a 10 month old. we have been weaning for last 4 months. he eats mushy food and depends a lot on sweet and Ella ready sachets. I’m concerned that he will continue being fussy as he grows if I allow him only to eat this way. I tried to remove all sweet foods for a bit, but this didn’t work. should I try avoid Ella sachets or let him indulge in the sweet food. I’m also unsure of the quantity he should eat. and the nutritional balance I should provide.

What should we do if baby doesn't eat the food we cooked? Do we offer something else? What is a good alternative (bread, fruit)?

My 10 month refuses mashed up foods, and only eats purees, should I be concerned right now or it’s a phase?

My 1 year old doesn’t seem to like eating in the highchair. Not sure if it’s to do with short attention span but after a few mouthfuls where he will actively feed himself, he seems disinterested. But once out of the chair, will happily eat the stuff he chucked on the floor! Any tips?

When you said about how pureed fruit releases sugar, is that the same for making smoothies with fresh fruit? I offer pieces of fruit for my boy, but I also make smoothies for him to get some yoghurt and other extra nutrients into him. Is it better to avoid that?

when I give my 18 months food. what she cant pick up I help her like food that needs a spoon. the other foods she picks up with her hand. So I start of spoon feeding, then after I heat up food she can pick up and let her eat on her own. I tried to eat my food same time she eats her finger food, problem is that she then wants to eat from my plate even do she has allmost same type of food. but my food contains salt so I dont want to give from my plate. how can I explain a 18 months to eat from her own plate?

my 18-month-old is not a bad eater, but is so slow! It doesn’t matter at the moment as we aren’t going anywhere, so I just give her time. Any tips for when we actually have places to get to?!?

My son is 21 months, never been very interested in food but I think he’s not particular fussy considering his age. However I do worry for later on... his step brother and father are the fussiest eaters I ever met. Any advice on what to do so that doesn’t affect my son?

sorry if this has been discussed, only able to link in. my son's 16months and was really good with veg and suddenly he's gone off veg. we always still give it to him but he prefers beige. 😭
