We are an free standing Assisted Living- With staff who have traveled outside of NH, ME, VT do you still recommend a 14 day quarantine for these staff. A related question- could we COVID test these staff to shorten quarantine? Or do they not need to quarantine at all?

If a resident has a hospital stay for a non-COVID reasons and is tested negative then goes to a skilled facility for rehab and is on quarantine with staff wearing full PPE and tests negative again prior to discharge do they need to be on quarantine again when they come back to our facility?

It's my understanding that the review after 4 rounds was to assess whether the frequency of surveillance testing needed to continue at this pace and also to revisit expanding to AL but there was not a statement that testing might end altogether after 4 cycles. I also recall Commissioner Shibinette referring to a year of testing.

If we are a COVID free facility, is it okay for residents to visit with one another (on the same floor) if they are 6 ft apart and wearing a mask? Some of the residents enjoy visiting with one another since they cannot see their families.

How many degrees of separation from contact with a COVID 19 positive warrants a 14-day quarantine if everyone in the chain of contact with COVID 19 positive person has had multiple negative test results? For example, my friends, friend tested positive do I need to quarantine for 14-days. My friend and I have both had multiple negative test results over the past 7 days and no symptoms.
