Thanks Andrea – good insight. Do you think that retailers in town could work together with JOINT promotions to attract consumers and increasing the ASP. For example, buy a product from you and a bunch of flowers from a local florist at one price? OR a product from you and treatment from a local hairdresser etc. If this worked, we could roll out to other retailers. Thoughts from you and everyone on the call?

Can shopballinasloe.ie facilitate combo offers from multiple sellers? Allow for a consistent approach from retailers and take the hassle out of figuring it out

each retailer can opt in to the discount model, whatever that might be

Joe you might circulate this question before the end of the meeting:Over the coming weeks steps will be taken to re-open our economy. However we are all conscious of the fact that it won’t simply be a case of ‘business as usual’ and that we will have to find new ways of doing things.Social distancing will remain a feature of our lives for some time and this will no doubt present challenges which are unique to each industry, profession and business.I believe by working together we can find solutions and supports that will allow businesses to find a new way of operating and allow us to restart our economy.I am also interested in hearing about the challenges implementing social distancing would create for you: will it have financial implications, implications for your premises etc.I would be grateful if you could send your suggestions to me at dnaugten@oir.ie
