We do a lot of room-to-room snack passes and utilize the National “weird” holidays such as Mother Goose Day today where we give out activity packets with nursery rhymes, and National Devil Dog Day was Monday so we handed out devil dogs.

We are trying to follow the “Sharing our Wisdom” theme. We are going around with a chalkboard and having residents write their words of wisdom. we are going to take pictures and put them on a slideshow to broadcast on our cctv

We are postponing our large celebrations until we can gather as a group again (and will make it BIG!) but during that week we will do theme days, a BBQ for staff on each shift and then we got an idea from a webinar since the theme is "Share your Wisdom" we will have a "Pearls of Wisdom" chain at the nurse's station with words of wisdom from each resident

I have to go currently to do hair. However daily we are doing two exercise groups with themed music, groups of 5, crossword of the day, who wants to be a millionaire via mirroring on the TV, I have time of inspiration, rosary once a week with five to a group, afternoons we have walking group and bingo with five people, sing alongs daily and 1-1 crafts, painting, adult coloring

Support of staff- dietary makes food such as pizza's to go for families; families donate raffle items as we had many family members ask what they can do for staff appreciation; sharing all of the positive messages from the families and thank yous with the staff so it goes right to the front lines inc dietary and housekeepers

We did a spirit month contest - 2 days a week we had spirit days (dress in sports attire, dress in 80’s attire, twins day, etc). Each staff member got a point for each day they participated and the one with the most points at the end won a gift card.
