DCI would like to consider creating a guide for local governments to help extend liquor licenses and insurance to assist with the expansion of services into the street.
Laurel Prudhomme
01:01:15
We would appreciate state-level, supported guidance on masks. That would assist retailers who feel they don’t have the authority to ask.
Tom- Alameda Corridor BID
01:05:03
It would definitely help to have more guidance on the outdoor liquor licensing issue. Do we need to lobby for changes in the state law? Our legislators say they have no significant money to help but can look at other legislation that would help.

01:05:51
Hi Reid, I had to joint late today, so this might have already been answered, but do you feel rural communities were represented enough?
Kat Correll
01:07:54
DCI is collecting examples of community efforts to impact the perception of safety with communications, “safety certification”, and other social distancing measures that they can communicate to the public.

Jenn Ooton, Glenwood Springs: We are hearing that there is a backlog at the state for approving licensed premise changes. Are others hearing that? Has there been an effort to ask for changes to premises to be made at the local level

01:33:11
any news about when restaurants will be able to open?
Reid Aronstein
01:38:04
I do have to jump off for another call, but thank you everyone for letting us join!
Kat Correll
01:38:18
Raejean - Reopening is dependent on your community and local health guidance. However, many restaurants are open with curbside services, and are considering how to expand table service by using sidewalks and streets. That is why we are looking at the extension of liquor licenses and insurance.
Kate Cooke - Localworks
01:40:41
Will there be a link to the sample restaurant layouts?
