I retired form 30+ years in healthcare administration and wanted something PT and School Health seemed a good fit. I love being able to make a difference in kids health and well being

Being able to empower a healthier generation in my community, a county that sturggles with very poor health outcomes.

I am passionate about people and serve as the Staff Wellness Facilitator for our district staff. Coordinating resources to support social, emotional and physical health of staff will also indirectly benefit students!

Getting the chance to work with kiddos with special needs and their families--their strength and perseverance keep me coming back!

Heathy students learn best. So everything we can do to help students to be healthy is exciting. Also staff need to be healthy to be at school on a regular basis and help students.

Wellness practices directly ties to human performance and capability. I think it is really important to support for our young people to maximize their ability to realize their passions in school and life.
