where was that ?
I’m on if you need my JV
I received an email earlier this morning from Vaccine Finder to register for inventory updates for Modern and Pfizer.
us too Randy
were you all able to access your vaccine finder account? I never could get logged in.
I did…It came through an email link to “create an account”
has anyone received their email for vaccine expected this week?
Will I be able to see the "Inventory" link on WebIZ after I receive my shipment? I was training on how to upload my inventory and I do not have this as an option as instructed.
Send email questions to email@example.com for the quickest response.
One person from your facility will get the email from Vaccine Finder. It is NOT the “normal” Vaccine Finder. You must contact someone with COVID Locating Health (the website) with CDC to get that email if you have not.
Laura, you should contact Rachel Odom with ADH to ensure your WebIZ is setup correctly.
Laura Lumsden if you cannot see the inventory tab (we couldn't either) this requires Web IZ to be reset so that you can see the inventory tab. You will need to contact Rachel Odom or someone at WebIz.
are pharmacy technician
are pharmacy technicians, clerks and delivery drivers included in Pharmacy 1.a.3?
1a3 "home health workers" does not include family members who are care givers, right?
Do we have to use the COVID-19 Immunization Consent form or can we make our own?
Public facing pharmacy staff are considered 1A
You can make your own consent form. The one that has been distributed can be altered to fit your needs.
when we are updating inventory with pfizer vaccine…do we account for the “extra doses”?
Yes, Randy you have to add them manually to your inventory vs the transfer
Do we have to update inventory in WEBIZ and COVID Locating health site?
when it’s time for 2nd doses, do we prioritize those or 1st dose for new people? (Sorry if this has already been addressed.)
had to step away for a min, sorry if itnwas covered,, what about veterinary clinics/animal hospitals? 1b?
Looking for best practices on the best way to screen all of these people to make sure they fall in to 1A
so we have to complete the first group of healthcare professionals before we open up to the next set of healthcare workers like physical therapy, atheletic trainers etc?
@john, Once you receive a transfer it is up to that site to update the WebIZ within 72 hours of administering the dose
which syringe are y’all using for overflow. I know there was talk about using the same syringe with the same “dead space”
Galaxy S20 FE 5G
will the consent form come with the shots when they are delivered or can I print it
Vanishpoint is the perfect syringe but has been on long term back order at the time. So we have utilized vanishpoint for first 3 doses and then possibly switching to other brand for remaining doses to max dose/vial
@ Galaxy S20 with hub and spoke model consent forms will not come with consent forms. They are located on APA website for dowload I believe and can be saved after you fill in your pharmacy information at the top so you don't have to write it in each time

We were asked to share this with everyone registered with the Board of Pharmacy. https://www.pharmacyboard.arkansas.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Letter-to-HCW-re-COVID-VaccineUpdate12.30.20.pdf
In counties that border other States - how should we handle the eligibility process for someone coming from another state. our focus is obviously AR HC workers with this allocation. Should we refer them to their state's available location or immunize them because they meet the phase requirements
have we got it approved to utilize nurses to assist
still trying to obtain/locate our clinic/store ID. Any ideas?
Nurses can assist in the logistics but not administration
If a pharmacy in our county reaches out looking for more workers for vaccine, can the moderna doses be transferred from that pharmacy the other pharmacy, or does the worker need to be directed to the original pharmacy for the vaccine?
I just got my PFIZER ancillary supply email!!!!!
CDC Clinical Guidance: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/info-by-product/clinical-considerations.html
if you are a pharmacy or hospital that received vaccine doses is it necessary for the facility to obtain the 2nd doses from the same location?
Yes BCBS couriers are "professional"
We got the VSafe. They came from BCBS.
The second doses will automatically be sent to pharmacy that administered the first dose. So people should go back to that location.
120 hrs from the time it is removed from UCF, not when you may receive it
Brad- As I understand it, the pharmacy redistributing the vaccine would need to complete the CDC Vaccine Redistribution Agreement. The 2nd pharmacy will also have to be a registered vaccine provider in WebIZ
Thank You so very much to all who is working so very hard !
