Many of the departments in Hamilton and Butler County are active with Smart911. Other departments are too, and it's growing, but you'll want to check at www.smart911.com

01:32:53
Not available in my area, Erie, Lorain County-use this link to check availability: https://www.smart911.com/smart911/isSmart911InMyAreaForm.action

01:34:02
Not available in 44820 Crawford County area. How can we bring it to our area?

01:34:23
If your department is not yet connected to Smart911 or Text911, encourage them to do so. We will talk in just a moment about connecting to your local department.

01:34:24
Yes---how can we bring it to our areas?

01:36:53
We have it here in Lucas Co. but ONLY if you have Verizon carrier!!!

01:43:08
any door locking system that is not hard to set up while on vacation for families with loved ones who wander?

01:44:10
Do you supply that board to families? sorry if you said it and I missed it.

01:45:02
Resources and links are available at the end of this webinar, correct? I think I may have missed that bit :) So much to share with the families I work with!!

01:46:01
Hi Lindsey, yes, you will have access to both presentations and the links and resources. If there is something specific you need, just let us know.

01:46:28
This booster session is being recorded and will be available for playback, along with copies of the presentations on our website within a few days. When our website is updated, I will email attendees with a direct link to access the information.

01:54:03
Are there links for social stories and/or video's that describe what an encounter might look like with police/fire/EMT so that families can work proactively on they would experience during potential encounters?

01:56:02
Kim- Anne just had a company highlighted in a RAAC meeting that has developed virtual reality simulations of interactions with first responders....

01:57:48
Amanda-I did see that (which was awesome), just thinking of something that might be used more readily by families/schools/providers/etc that are not as aware of it or do not have the additional financial resources to utilize the simulations via Ipad and Iphones

01:59:14
@Toni let's address you question about door locking systems at the end. I know there are a variety of tech answers, but, also less tech answers as well.

02:01:10
@Amy yes, I have shared these communication boards with families at Safety Events (laminated and double sided), but they are also available online at widget health and there are a variety of these for the doctors office and other scenarios as well (the link is live in the presentation).

02:02:40
@Kim, yes, there are a variety of social stories, videos, and virtual reality options. I'll share a few of these options in a moment. UCCEDD has a social story and videos.

02:05:46
I think an additional safety measure to mention would be for individuals that utilize transportation services for via Uber, Lyft, etc especially since this is a widely used service for so many.

02:09:18
Thanks so much!

02:09:41
thank you

02:11:54
I recently saw several porn tabs bookmarked on my 15 y/o son's computer. I know it's natural to explore and don't want to make it the "forbidden fruit". How do I help him?

02:13:20
www.floreotech.com (virtual reality option for learning about engaging with first responders)
