Terry Hayes
02:41
Exactly...
Terry Hayes
03:33
Sounds like a lot of free work?
John Medlin
03:54
Estimated costs vs. comp cost before?
Leslee Holden
04:56
Who has been overseeing all of this up until now?
John Medlin
05:12
Is everyone permitted to talk now?
Terry Hayes
05:21
that sounds like what government does?
Alissa Finerman
05:33
John yes :)
John Medlin
06:17
Thank you.
Leslee Holden
06:23
I notice there is going to be a “ blue bus senior outing” planned for next month. Who oversees this??
Leslee Holden
07:27
Who is going to be handing out the tickets to the scooters riding on the streetz/
harry.leshner
07:51
the scooters are supposed to ride in the streets, not on the sidewalks
Terry Hayes
08:08
I agree with Ed...information gathering is more our role if they can coordinate..
Leslee Holden
08:17
Darn I meant on the pavement
Francie Stefan
08:26
The Police Department has authority for all moving violations in the City, including scooters
Terry Hayes
08:46
when is it critical?when is it good manners?
Leslee Holden
08:51
So why aren’t they handing out tickets
harrietepstein
09:08
City administration chooses the participants for commissions and they are all slanted to support existing policies. Why not have this commission staffed with representatives chosen by the neighborhood councils?
Alissa Finerman
10:09
John | Manju | Harry for comments
Manju Raman
12:44
Hi AlissaI don’t have a questionThank you
John Medlin
16:07
Did Mr. King answer Harry's question?
Terry Hayes
16:10
Alissa makes a good point in terms of feedback systems
Terry Hayes
17:21
RE : Harriet - Block Captains is what I suggest on a literal neighborhood by neighborhood basis
Terry Hayes
19:01
RE: Alisa - you may have to remind folks how to raise their hand in the app
Terry Hayes
19:47
Absolutely correct re Gloria
Alissa Finerman
20:03
Thanks Terry
John Medlin
20:25
Amen, Gloria. The BBB has always responded to my emails and questions in the past.
Terry Hayes
22:12
Alissa is correct.Yes. better systems.
harry.leshner
23:53
slack would be more efficient but that would be too expensive for the city
harry.leshner
23:59
or servicenow
Terry Hayes
29:33
I've stopped using Ca incline to go east because they removed a lane going up the hill...
harry.leshner
30:39
traffic always backs up to the intersection at Washington and at Idaho
harry.leshner
31:04
my wife and I cross there often with our baby and its very unsafe bc cars coming the other way cant see us
Ed Hunsaker
31:36
A commission for this is a move to shirk responsibility to gather and assess data, and to then make decisions. Transpo dept. is paid well enough, to do the task. Mr King agreed his dept. is capable of doing that job.. Avoid another layer of bureaucracy.
Terry Hayes
31:46
I've noted it's U-Turn city at that intersection Elizabeth...

35:12
I'm a cyclist, I'm uncomfortable with the current configuration because the cars now turn right across the bikelane
David Schlosberg
35:40
I was an avid bike share user and never heard a thing. How many people disagreed?
Alissa Finerman
35:52
Harry, most cyclists feel this way!
harry.leshner
36:27
I just ride in the car lane now, when I clip in I can't have a car turn in front of me
Terry Hayes
38:23
You are an aspirational/inspirational recycler Elizabeth... I've seen you in action.
ed.king
38:50
Thank you all again for your time and feedback this evening. My contact info: ed.king@smgov.net; direct line: 310 434-2637
Alissa Finerman
38:58
Thanks Ed!
John Medlin
48:07
Aspirational recycling?
LM
49:57
Is Aspirational recycling wishful recycling? Trying to understand.
Elizabeth Van Denburgh
51:08
Yes LM. You hope it is recyclable but it isn't. My take away is keep doing plastics even though not all of it is recyclable.
John Medlin
51:39
Thank yuu.
LM
51:39
Thank you Elizabeth
John Medlin
55:51
What kind/brand of an apt composting container do you suggest?

John Medlin
01:03:46
For Mario, a brief, if possible, the cases for/against changes in R1 zoning?
Leslee Holden
01:04:54
I second John Medlins question
John Medlin
01:07:24
In 1960 pop of SM was 83,000; sixty years later in 2020, pap is 90,400, barely 10% over SIXTY YEARS. How does it make sense to increase pop by 12-18,000 in the next nine years?
Leslee Holden
01:08:10
What does “affordable' mean today
harry.leshner
01:15:08
If I'm not mistaken, Venice already allows the type of zoning proposed by SB9 and 10, how is that working out?
Elizabeth Van Denburgh
01:16:13
Harry, it would have to be allowed by City of LA zoning since that is what guides Venice zoning. I don't know what LA zoning is on that but I'd be doubtful that they can currently do that.
harry.leshner
01:16:30
Will it be possible to distribute these materials after the meeting?
Elizabeth Van Denburgh
01:16:58
Harry, I can post on Wilmont.org. Other ideas for distribution?
Terry Hayes
01:17:14
Yes I would like to have this info as well if possible...
John Medlin
01:17:15
