I was told peppermint was not pregnancy safe by my doctor. what makes YL peppermint different?

Definitely talk to your provider and do what you’re comparable with! But I used peppermint all though my pregnancy to help naturally support my body with nausea!

Hi Alyssa! As a birth doula, its actually one of the only oils that is within my scope to use with pregnant women! It is safe to use topically, it is contraindicated to use near your breasts as it can impact milk production when applied directly to the chest or ingested! Definitely do your own research but evidence supports it being safe in general for use in pregnancy :)
