What’s your timeline for purchasing?

Apologies if you’ve already mentioned this, but is there a sense of an updated timeline for this project and are there any deadlines imposed by existing funding sources like the Forest Legacy Grant? How quickly do you expect to have to raise that $5.3 million?

Can you go back to the map and describe the boundaries and neighbors of the area?

My wife and I live in Arch Cape north of Hug Point, we and our neighbors have been fighting off an effort by ODF to sell timber in the forest lands just across the highway from us -- with some success, How dioes this forest land connect with the Arch Capre Forest

The federal grant requires 25% of the total budget be nonfederal funds. That money could be from DEQ loan forgiveness, state and private grants, private donations, and timber revenue

Concerning the Hug Point 19 Road project: The land was closed for 2-1/2 months during prime summer recreation time. When we were allowed to re-enter, the Hug Point 19 Road is no longer passable north to south and is not likely to be passable for 7-10 more months. What happened and what is the new plan?

My family recently purchased land in south Arch Cape and we'd like to improve the diversity and overall health of the forest. Are there any local resources and/or books you can recommend regarding palustrine wetlands and upland forest restoration/enhancement?
