Our CRF topic today is gratitude and donor relations. This is an interactive conversation to discuss best practices for developing long-term relationships with donors. Share with each other how you follow-up, receive large and small donations for your arts in health programs, and tips for heading into the giving season!

Is raising money for a non-profit within the non-profit hospital ever an issue?

35:38
Love this! Do you mind to share your program's Facebook in the chat so we can connect?

Is there a printing company you would recommend?

In my country, Argentina, the culture of donating money is not very widespread. Probably because of the 30 or 40 % annual inflation. Now I live in Chile, and I am still trying to understand how to set up a non-profit project in this country.

The pediatric patients' art at UF Health/Shands has always been a big part of our give-aways and products. The Childrens Miracle Network holds an auction every year that raises thousands of dollars from art our patients make, often with our artists. We also have original coloring books that are given away, and holiday greeting cards of children's art that are sold in the gift shop.

01:00:45
Mariana, do you know if there are any nonprofit support organizations in Chile like there are in the States? Sometimes here in the states groups or individuals that don’t have nonprofit status can go to a nonprofit that provides fiscal sponsorship such as Fractured Atlas.

01:03:21
Danielle, I couldn’t find anyone yet, but from the Noah Conference I’m looking for that 😉 Arts in health field doesn’t exist here yet, so this can also a big opportunity

01:04:33
Great, Mariana. Yes, this is a big opportunity! They are lucky to have you there 😊

01:08:56

If people are looking for fundraising information, look into programs with your local chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

01:09:51
Everyone, remember if you want to connect with other members on this call and don’t get to exchange emails before it ends, you can look them up in the member directory on the NOAH website!

01:10:09
Great suggestion, Emma!

01:10:31
Question for NOAH: When will we receive conference materials, etc if we attended the conference? I haven’t seen anything yet.

01:10:58
The recordings will be posted in Attendify next week!

01:11:06
Great. Thanks!

01:11:24
We will send out an email to all attendees/presenters when the recordings are up.
