They got focused on the work not the why of the work. Reach those that are far from Christ! - 1st!

We can justify anything - it's us wanting to be our own god!

We can’t allow the winds and waves of chaos to steal our focus on Jesus. Jesus must remain our focus because it brings perfect peace, unity with fellow believers, spiritual stability and makes us effective in the body of Christ.

So let the winds and the waves rage, BUT Keep your eyes on Jesus. When the storm passes, you don’t want to look back in shame. You don’t want to look back and remember yourself falling apart, losing faith, being controlled by your emotions, or sinking. When you look back at the days of the storm, you’ll want to say, “I stood faithful. I kept my integrity. I kept my purity, my joy, my love, my peace. In the middle of the storm, I kept my eyes on Jesus and we will look at all situations so differently… it test our Faith and our relationship with the Lord.

God places a hole in our hearts that can only be filled by Him, His Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit that will truly satisfy us! The things of this world will never satisfy us permanently!!

The Holy Spirit filling the God sized hole in our heart is the only thing big enough to fill it, and the only source of true joy and eternal hope. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit and submit to Him we can see the joy and the harvest at the end of the storm. Just as Jesus endured the cross because of what came as a result. Remember that same resurrection power is now in us. Don't let the enemy try to convince us that where anything less than what we are, the sons and daughters of the Great I Am!
