when io worked in pelican bay prison the inmates had co pay for medical care unless psychiatrist like myself requested care thru collaboration, which then led to PCP to not be to responsive to collaboration

It’s the truth today in a Los Angelos facility died of an overdose and instead of medical care the guards let the person on the bunk I’m not sure if that’s an example of bad health care

I’ll also give a shout out to SB1007 — something I wasn’t able to speak to, but this bill provides compensation for victims of forced sterilization - both as a part of CA Eugenics program and those sterilized inside California Prisons in the last 10-15 years. This bill is currently being considered now!
