want to grow mint (mostly for mojitos;) but is there a plant just "mint" or should I be planting spearmint? peppermint? or something else?
Debra Brandau-Akermann
32:31
There is a plain mint that you can get. Just make sure you either put it in a pot of in an area that is contained in your garden. It is very prolific
Janice Arcuria
34:34
The local large Korean grocery store has several different types of mints and basil, etc. Perhaps these stores are in your neighborhood.
Kathy Kassenborg
35:16
thanks Janice...and thanks to Liz...lots of good information
Ruth Ann LeHane
37:03
Herbs, do you chop with a knife or scissors?
Iris
37:05
I find our garden stores also have many types of mint and basil plants.
Iris
39:25
You can find the recipe on Liz's website, thecreativefeast.com

I usually use scissors, I guess what I want to know if she recommends chopping with a knife over scissors. Is there a benefit either way or does it matter?
Iris
41:41
You can find the recipe in her recipe blog, look on the list on the right under soups
Ruth Ann LeHane
43:09
Beautiful! Thanks so much Liz and Iris!
Julie Garfield
54:11
Is a hand held immersion blender strong enough in lieu of a vitamix?
Sandra Harris
56:03
I think Vitamix is by far the best to use. Takes less enegy.

what sand from leeks. maybe line strainer with cheesecloth?
Lisa Loef
01:13:26
Are the frozen peas now defrosted?
Janet Yandrisevits
01:15:45
I often place a fine men's handkerchief inside the strainer. This also catches anything you don't want to go into your liquid
Iris
01:16:13
I also find a coffee filter works depending on the density of the liquid.
Louise Lachance
01:17:00
