And we can still select a different data set than Oct count, as long as we change all school data?
CDE Kristen Collins
30:33
Correct, there have been some modifications to the school profile page that will indicate a modification has been made. We will go over that more during the walk through.
Mitzi Swiatkowski
31:19
EC BOCES is in attendance. Two of us are in our video conference room watching as a team. Mitzi Swiatkowski and Megan Donnellon. We can't "chat" on our interactive whiteboard, so I also have the screen up on my computer. Please put ECBOCES Conference into Northeast Region.

Will districts within a BOCES application have the option of choosing their poverty data year or will it have to be BOCES wide?
Cheryl Cook
36:50
Thanks so much!
Cheryl Cook
38:57
If we are uploading the consultation forms into the app, do they still need to be submitted a month earlier than ConsApp is due?
CDE: Michelle Prael
39:46
@Arlene, we are still working on how this will work but yes, there will be the ability to have different poverty years per district.
Heather Howe, Roaring Fork School District
39:52
Can you link the updated non-public school consultation form? I was having trouble finding it.
CDE: Michelle Prael
40:21
@Cheryl - Correct, the consultation forms are due May 30th.
CDE: Michelle Prael
41:00
@Heather, here is the link to the NPS consultation forms: http://www.cde.state.co.us/fedprograms/2018consultationform
Cheryl Cook
41:35
Are you saying we need to send the consultation forms under a separate email by May 30 AND upload them in the app due June 30?
Heather Howe, Roaring Fork School District
41:41
Thank you!
CDE: Michelle Prael
43:27
@Cheryl You would only upload the consultation forms in the application by May 30 and you do not have to submit your application to turn them in on time. You won't need to send an email with them.
Cheryl Cook
43:39
Thanks
Laura Gorman
44:23
What is the rationale for the NPS forms to be due May 30th? I understand that an extension may not be like last year with into July, but why is there the May 30th deadline instead of June? I just can't remember that reasoning. Is it that we can't get substantial approval until they are submitted & this allows for that?
Amy Fairbanks
44:28
Did you say Title III narratives will not carry over?
Jackie Crabtree
44:29
Yes
Cheryl Cook
44:41
Since we still don’t have preliminary allocations, it’s kind of an abbreviated timeline for consultation and getting all those finished by May 30.
DeLilah Collins
45:35
@Cheryl and Laura, we will take this back to the team and review the timeline for submitting the Non-public Schools consultation form and get back to everyone. Thank you for your feedback!
Mitzi Swiatkowski
45:57
I agree with Cheryl and Laura's concerns. Thanks!
CDE Kristen Collins
46:04
The May 30th deadline for the consultation forms is to ensure there is enough time for CDE to verify the forms are complete and that all applicable forms are received before granting substantial approval.

Arlene Salyards, NE BOCES
47:12
Did you say when the application would open?
Krissi Camper, Fremont RE-2
47:57
Has there been any change to the carryover percentage from this year to next?
Cheryl Cook
48:05
Thanks, Delilah! We do consult all year with NPs, but what they really need to know right now is the estimated allocations for 21-22, so we have been waiting on those numbers before finalizing consultation requirements.
Cheryl Cook
48:21
We do appreciate your call last week!
Arlene Salyards, NE BOCES
48:27
thank you :)
Laura Gorman
48:53
DeLilah, I think it's more the getting them to sign & get the forms -- sometimes we are talking, but they won't make a decision until we give them a firm allocation number & I think most of us push for May 30th because it gives us a push point, but on the back end for us we might need a little more time to keep following up on the getting the forms (at least that is my experience -- maybe not others)
Krissi Camper, Fremont RE-2
49:08
Yes thank you
Arlene Salyards, NE BOCES
49:21
When will preliminary allocations be released?
CDE Tammy Giessinger
49:27
Title I carryover waiver: https://www.cde.state.co.us/fedprograms/titleipartacarryoverwaiver
Mitzi Swiatkowski
50:32
Will CDE contact BOCES if any of our districts had a big dip in Title funds? I heard from one district last week-that they had been contacted by CDE. CDE also usually notifies me, so I can follow up with them?
Arlene Salyards, NE BOCES
50:54
Thanks again :)
