Diana Bovington
57:01
I have done a timetable with OT clients and for myself which are working well
Kayleigh Hall
57:26
Is there a breakdown as to what is recommended as moderate intensity/vigorous intensity. I know from past experiences as a personal trainer that a lot of people have varying ideas of what these types of exercise are
anita laidlaw
57:53
Important to take into account what the person is interested in and also any underlying other health difficulties that would be obstacles / add extra risk.
Julie Warner
58:07
Lots of free online resources available currently for exercising from Tai Chi to Joe Wickes for older people.
Christine Kirby
58:42
Being older I have found Joe Wick's exercise for seniors on You Tube very good - 10 minutes in my lounge every day to stop me seizing up followed by a good walk later on.
Angela Richardson
58:48

anita laidlaw
01:06:09
Some people’s beliefs have space and means to assist with relaxation and reducing anxiety. Some clients may have cultural and / or spiritual beliefs / practices that need to be utilised and accepted as important for them.
Dawn Baker
01:06:31
It is indeed good lung exercise. It's good for respiration and also core muscle control, if using abdominal breathing.

In my role as a bereavement counsellor, we have utilised the '1st Aid Kit' concept in a creative way: with groups and trainees - inviting them to create from plasticine a depiction of the 'things that help' - it's really absorbing and engaging - and everyone finds their inner creativeness!!
