As I need to leave, I’ll share what I saw as a very powerful Alterman commentary within “Campfire.” When I/we say Shecheyanu it can be for very small nice things or very big things. And, there is an encouragement to find the blessing in difficulties. To me Alterman is commenting “enough already with finding the blessing in difficult times, Jewish people, it’s time to vanquish our enemy and then say this sacred blessing for the best possible outcome for our people.” Very powerful!
