Also, what layout program software do you recommend? I know there's a mac-based Vellum but I need an easy to use PC-based program.

How long do you recommend between hardback publication and paperback?

When you showed the pages of the book, they didn't seem to fit on the page. Should we assume it fit?

InDesign is the industry standard for book design.

What is "in design” ?

Working with a graphic designer, we had trouble transferring my ms. in Pages (which I love) into InDesign. I had to export everything to Word which coordinates better with InDesign. Maybe that interface has been fixed, but I don't know.

Anybody know what “API” means?

API= Application Programming Interface
