Adding to Peter’s explanation, many lay people don’t realize the area distortions in the world maps they’re used to and it does create a certain perspective of the world

Into the future are you seeing paper maps being left behind as predominantly for reference such as travel or local tourism? Do you see any trends towards 3D visualizations or smaller scale like a closer look into the built environment?

You all have very iconic map designs have any of you ever considered doing a complete redesign to perhaps attract a new audience?
