53:54
Are there interview guides or qualitative resources that can be used to compare across community colleges?

54:14
Cerrp Coso College has a great psychology course where the students were part of the data coaching and did report out at the SSSC

54:41
Also a Sociology teacher at OCC involves her students in the research

55:15
Great, thanks!

55:49
The ASCCC Canvas website in the resources at the end has several guides for survey questions and student focus groups and panels. RP group also has a guide with lots of great ideas and questions.

Are you referencing the ones on the Launchboard that Michelle referenced or some other source

Students were separated into their metamajors by their declared major. The major was updated through counselling visits to be sure they are informed major choices. We also had a metamajor for explorations or those who did not declare

01:07:23
Do you cross list majors into multiple pathways?

01:07:38
Looking at students by major and metamajor did not require additional software, we use Banner and we had to add another student attribute to be able to search data in that way

01:08:09
We began cross listing majors into multiple metamajors but it did cause some data issues

01:09:18
Awesome Angella - just ask if we can help

01:12:26
Janet, after discovering those data issues did you end up moving those majors only into one pathway?

01:15:03
We did end up not allowing majors to be in more than one metamajor. That was our choice. Other colleges have chosen to leave them in multiple pathways

01:15:51
thank you everyone!
