Greetings Dr. Epps. My grandmother is 99yrs old and lives alone in SC. I have guardianship and conservatorship of her, but live in VA. The neurologist has ruled her incapacitated (dementia...mini score 21/30) with a need for help 24/7. I've informed her of the need for her to go to a nursing home. She refuses. She's a hoarder and has become violent. Dept of Social Services will have a police officer which will be devastating. How do I transfer her with dignity and respect despite her refusal?
Lydia Figueroa
58:44
Awesome
Larisa Zawacki

If you consider no avenues for follow up if there was a detection of having memory problems. Makes perfect sense to decline
