Insurance is trying to hit us as strongly as pandemic. New quote is 40% up, with all going on right now, we not being able to work until who knows when, this is unbelievable! Anyone in this situation? Can we fight insurance companies as well?
Aaron Cox
30:32
We are absolutely getting slammed by insurance. They want over $5000 per bus per month. Michigan is the worse.
WAGNER TRISKA JR
30:35
We completely agree
Theresa Parker
31:06
Yes and our equipment hasn't moved since 3/20/2020

33:56
Our insurance on the van side, my rep said you would be shocked at the number of claims they are still receiving. In regards to the buses, RLI has been a blessing.
Stacy Strickland
34:12
I can confirm Louisiana is in dire straits as far as insurance is concerned.
bryce snyder
34:58
yes RLI is a great big help always happy with them
Russell Jackson
35:04
as our industry shrinks, there are less buses and proprtionatelty less exposure for the insurance companies. the past court cases will not translate into future losses for underwriters. We may need to turn to State and Federal Regulators to make sure struggling bus companies to not get gauged by insureres.

44:37

Please share what is Saucon doing as far as monthly charges due to the fact we have been shut down since March and no service for the near future.
MATT DANCE
45:33
Saucon's compliance module is awesome. It manages all DQ items with limited staff.

FYI, we will keep the meeting open for 30 minutes after our program ends for anyone who wants to socialize and chat with colleagues.
Robert Barnes
51:09
Saucon allowed us to inactivate any coaches that we chose to. No charges on inactive coaches.
Aaron Cox
51:37
Ok that was my next question Robert
Deb Owings
51:43
Still charging us for each one a minimum charge.
MATT DANCE
51:58
FINALLY!!!!
Robert Barnes
52:50
The only charge we are getting for inactive coaches is to keep active with Verizon so that we don't incur a re-connect charge from them.
Robert Barnes
53:18
That's my understanding anyway...…...
Diane Byrnes
53:20
We had to keep one bus with full coverage and the rest are with liability only.
Rachel Guth
53:32
We have physical damage only ( I think that's what it is) on our inactive coaches

PPP 2.0 should have more in it for fixed expenses. If the buses aren't rolling we still have to pay the banker!
Patricia Cowley

agreed, Robert.

Second draw of PPP is not law yet but has been proposed by Senate Republicans twice in their HEALS proposal and their skinny Phase 4 bill released this week, so it is a good sign that it is a high priority for them.
