Side mention about the consortium effort -- given the success of this team science approach, VA HSR&D has now funded national research consortia in chronic pain/opioids, suicide prevention, access, virtual care, and EHR modernization.

Interesting comparisons this interesting study of stereotype threat with England "veteran-specific" mental health service access (nearly all other healthcare is provided by mainstream NHS provision). We have noted that in active duty, general population and women veteran use of physical health services, mainstream MH services, the patterns of use AD, gen pop and veterans are similar. However women veterans have much lower use of veteran specific MH services! This may be in part due to the stereotype threat, but suggests other factors?
