The EJ Block Grants have no dedicated youth-focused funding

Like a lot of these IRA and IIJA funding streams, much of our work is an allowable use, but folks at the local level have to advocate for inclusion (and national advocates need to help)

A newish part of the Aspen FCS team is an outdoor OY youth leadership program called Fresh Tracks, which might be well aligned to the EPA work.

A reflection on the Early Childhood movement (and recent successes) is that it was built on a good 20 years of producing pretty strong evidence. Just a plug for more data and research in the OY space as part of a long term plan to raise its importance…
