Thank you so much for everything that you do. What are your thoughts on how all-virtual students can be equal members of the class if some of their classmates are going in-person?

Will the entire school be told of a positive case in a classroom?

Melanie - we have an amazing local resource on the topic of outdoor learning at the Eastern Ridge School. I am on their school board and am happy to make introductions if that’s helpful.

Should we be worried that our teachers might need to quit/retire/take unpaid leave if we cannot respect their choice to stay virtual?

In regards to technology, will teachers teach with microphones to help them project to the virtual students and the in-person? Has this been a part of the existing pilots?

Can you confirm whether there is additional budget available to purchase new technology for the classrooms to support the concurrent model? Specifically items like the ones we saw in the FCPS video - document cameras, microphones, etc.

Just to better understand, the students will be seated 6 ft away from eachother in the classroom? Are there limits to number of people in a classroom depending on room size?

Has FCPS considered using some of the rec centers with large rooms as temporary classroom space?
