Poor sound quality, echo. Is it possible to loop the mic feed directly into your set up?
Marisa Busselen
16:50
yes, it started out good but barley hear now
Brooke Rahn

Sound is great on my laptop here at home.
Mary Shero

Amen.
Tyler Pew
18:02
Still bad?
Brooke Rahn
18:04
Might be individual devices causing the sound issues.
Brooke Rahn
18:13
Sound is great on my end.
Melanie Seyler

Michael
48:27
its ok
Jenay
49:04
Kind of lol
Tyler Pew
49:25
Ugh sorry!
Tyler Pew
49:39
We are using a cell phone hot spot for internet
Jenay
50:47
No worries, thank you
Brooke Rahn
51:17
For troubleshooting on sound...if you are watching on a cellphone, make sure all of your tabs are closed, that you only have this zoom meeting running. The more bandwidth you are using, the worse the quality. The sound is good on my laptop, but only if I close all of my other windows and turn off the wifi on my phone. Hope this helps someone.
Peter Livingston
51:31
Microphone may be too sensitive - maybe test a previous suggestion to hold the mic a little further away from the mouth? Just wondering...
Tyler Pew
51:40
Thanks Brooke!
Tyler Pew
52:14
ok. I will pass on that suggestion
Greenville Rancheria Tribal representativeiPhone
53:07
Can I get this email to me at furrutia@greenvillerancheria.comThank You
Brooke Rahn
54:28
Another issue with sound quality might come from the actual speakers your device is using. If you can, try using headphones and it might improve.
Brooke Rahn
54:58
@greenville rancheria: I will sign you up. Thank you!
aubrey pickerell
57:23
add me to the email list please, aubreypickerell@gmail.com thank you!
Brooke Rahn
57:47
@aubrey pickerel: I will sign you up. Thank you!
Peter Livingston
58:15
Another piece of feedback: I "think" I heard somebody typing on a keyboard. Could there be another open mic (near a keyboard) that could be feeding back some audio and creating a bit of an echo effect. (BTW - I am on a laptop with audio running through a Home Theater system - both the base-quality and sound levels are good. There is an "echo" effect that seems directly tied to the speach patterns of the speaker. Sorry if this is too much info for trouble shooting...)
Brooke Rahn
59:31
@Peter Livingston: good info! I hear the keyboard too.
Peter Livingston
01:00:53
Who is primarily responsible for the tech portion of these broadcasts? Just in case I have potentially beneficial suggestions for the future... or maybe even want to volunteer to be the flunky/go-fer on a tech crew.)
Tyler Pew
01:01:00
Yes. We have a speaker set up so the large audience in person here can hear the speaker. I just adjusted a setting, let me know if that’s better
Mary Shero
01:05:07
Excellent points, Trina. Thank you!
Jenay
01:06:41
Thank you Trina
Peter Livingston
01:08:52
The baby and the keyboard typing came through very clearly. And also some other sounds like a hand hitting a mic or something. Not sure what mic is picking up that background sound, but it is definitely a factor I think.
Brooke Rahn
01:11:35
@peter Livingston yes, I wonder if the speaker is connected to the computer? is it plugged into the computer headphone jack?
Tyler Pew
01:12:18
You can email Tyler@lmnopdesigninc.com to offer to volunteer , and let know if anyone has any audio/visual equipment to donate
Ren Ren
01:13:07
Sounds great to me. Thank you Tyler this is a top notch presentation and we are lucky to be a part of it!
Brooke Rahn
01:14:55
I will put the links to PCRIC on our website on the Resources page so you can find it there.
Jenay
01:18:53

This is what makes our valley extraordinary. Many, many talented people!! We are truly blessed.
Susan Weber
01:22:25
Sierra Institute has been such a driving force in this recovery and rebuild. Deeply grateful.
Peter Livingston
01:22:50
More sound feedback just for the record: Sue just came on and has ABSOLUTELY NO FEEDBACK - perfect sound quality. I assume her audio is coming from a different source - maybe direct through the Zoom connection. And more FYI - I'm not just complaining - I LOVE this meeting and info and people, and REALLY appreciate it being available on Zoom!!!!
Susan Weber
01:24:06
Peter, as this will be an ongoing way of communicating any and all feedback is welcome. You are correct, I am on my computer with the Zoom connection. Blessings.

Question: When will the Greenville School campus be cleared to be used as a school again? Is that up to the school board or is it health department?
Susan Weber
01:38:37
PUSD will be the ones to make the decision. My understanding is that they will be opening the school for the 2022/2023 school year. I believe it will be more about what it looks like.
Susan Weber
01:39:04
We lost connection.
Kevin Cox
01:40:11
Soil issues are nothing new in CA wildfires. It will get resolved. The state in years past have done fill dirt programs to bring sites back to a level acceptance.
Mary Shero
01:41:45
Thank you everyone in the collaborative for what you are doing here .Your time and work are much appreciated.
