Our policy is to or from hotel or to meals 20 mile max. Hard to find on our ELD

No more taking bus home etc.

I used it a couple days ago to drop off bus for annual DOT inspection.

Elizabeth, you should have been on-duty. That was to do with company business not personal.

American Stage Tours, we have personal conveyance block out on our logs. They are allowed to log driving to a store or restaurant for a short didtance

Scott, DOT is citing companies for a falsification of logs in some cases if no policy is available

Having your bus parked at the Gentleman’s club not good for PR… it has happened… people sent pictures near LAX…15 yrs ago.

If they pay with hotel with company credit card, you might be in trouble

A lot depends on if a driver is out of drive/service hours and pressed up against the border

What happens in the case where a Driver applies PC in service, and it's not. What can the carrier do to correct it other than documenting it.

Let's use an example of the departure day of a multi-day trip. They have loaded the luggage for the return travel but are at a venue or attraction for the day (i.e. theme park) and the driver is off all day waiting for the actual drive. If they leave that venue and go to lunch and return, would that clarification for #8 of the document still apply since they aren't directed to deliver the luggage anywhere.

Would it matter if the group reserves and pays for the driver's room or the company does?

Do you consider the driver off duty while waiting at the park?
