Stanford White seems to have a favorite color of green. Does it have a name? (…similar to Frank Lloyd Wright’s love of red)

Would love to know where in Medford Wells is buried. Medford isn't exactly known for scenic cemeteries.

How does Samuel White deal with the current movement to denounce the legacy of prominent figures who also were lousy human beings. This moment contends statues of Washington, Jefferson and others should be taken down because they owned slaves. Stanford White was a notorious sex offender of young women, many just girls. Should we still praise him?

Faith Miller
50:08
aren't we doing that?
Flip O’Brien
50:13
Why not his personal life? It’s part of him, just as Jefferson’s influenced our country.

It’s difficult to make a large building look graceful, but White could do it.

Q for Sam White: What do you think of White’s version of Jeffersonian architecture at UVa? It’s one of these strange collisions where White knew the original references, where (I believe) Jefferson knew them mostly from books.
Faith Miller
56:24
