***Bryan, we have not worked with the Washington Tax structure Work Group. We have worked with the Washington Depattment of revenue, and the Unemployment Security Department.

Hello Bryan! I'm not sure how it integrates with that work group, we are working to align our work as much as we can with the newly formed Universal Healthcare Commission. We hired a U Mass Amherst economist to help us develop a funding plan within the legal means of our tax code while making the structure as progressive as possible.

We would love to get in touch with the Tax Structure Work Group though! I can look into it, and if you have any contacts or links to share that would help me move that along quickly :)

Andre, Try this for info on the TSWG, https://taxworkgroup.org/ several of it's members are members of the state legislature and I'm sure would appreciate hearing about the tax proposals associated with this initiative.

I spoke with a gentleman who had not voted for 42 years and he was not aware that he had his right to vote returned here in WA.

Someone asked about debt, in FL former felons CAN vote thanks to a law passed in 2019, though DeSantis added a requirement to have all debt paid off first which many say amounts to essentially poll tax

sorry, the law was 2019, the FL Govs exec order was 2019

And DeSantis changed the reqt so those who had had a murder or sex felony case were excluded.

PKS TKS - appreciate your perspective on the founding of this country as well. One thing I've found in my journey is that as you peel away the onion in time, you see how the motives to keep preferential treatment for some over others has a long history.

@Kathryn & Barbara I feel fortunate I had one or two radical social studies teachers that taught me *some* real history in HS though as someone who regularly sits on interviews panels I see that unless you attend higher ed you may not be exposed to such ideas and TRUTH
