DOMINO AFFECT OF ERRORS

Alex - I don't have ADHD (that I know of) but relate very much. My first thought was less of the relief of finding the keys but self-shame for having misplaced them again.

When this happens in real life, I still feel anxious even after finding the keys because I'm still catastrophizing ("Oh, now I'm still going to be late....now I'm leaving X minutes later than I meant to...etc etc.")

AND it’s ALL MY FAULT!

Alex, I am in the same situation as you. The shame can be overwhelming.
