My township is considering having a Website. Can we put meeting notices on the Website in lieu of a newspaper notice
Steve Fenske

Hi Theora, unfortunately there is no substitute for posted or published notices as they are required in statutes. You can have a website and add notices on the webpage, which will likely be of more use to those online.

MAT has a special page on their website with everything for the American Rescue Act - it’s here: https://mntownships.org/arpa-information/

Is the only reason to complete that form is to have MAT complete the process? If we completed ourselves, we do not need to complete and submit to MAT?
Steve Fenske
01:15:19
HI Mary, You are correct. The form is intended to be used if you want MAT to do the registration for you. You do not need it to apply on your own. But - if you fill out that form you should have all the information you will need to apply yourself. It can be used as a way to collect your information in one place.

Is the $105 per resident that has been referenced here and in articles an estimate that might be allocated each year of the 4 years we have to encumber versus the entire award?

We're building a trail which will have a lot of fencing. The trail isn't insurable but would the fencing and benches be?
