Do you know that police in Ramsey county are sending your residents to Hennepin County?
Alexis Kramer, FFTS
54:11
And are you planning on having Bethesda hospital government runned? Interesting because Saint Paul has more police than Minneapolis and I feel that the police don't know how to de-escalate situations. Please take this into consideration. I mean no disrespect
JK

Amy.Dellwo
01:05:22
I think it is important that people have a place to be. I am hoping we can take a next step of securing longer range support for homeless individuals.
Bonnie Erickson
01:05:52
Will you be meeting with The Capital heights block group to discuss their issues?
Jean Lee
01:07:29
what will you do for the homeless that still need housing when the proposed facilities reach capacity? what are the thresholds for who gets the housing and who doesn't?
Alexis Kramer, FFTS
01:11:40
I love the steps that Ramsey County is taking but there are so many people who are outside right now in the cold. I think this is a great first step to keep people warm and safe. I don't think people should be singled out though. I think buying a big enough place for all people experiencing homelessness would help get everyone off the streets. What are the statistics for Ramsey County?
Michael Strom
01:12:04
@commissioner Rafael Ortega what outreach efforts have you taken to discuss this project with the immediate neighbors of the facility in your district?
Prince Corbett

01:14:42
What’s most concerning for me? I think this is great, but the need is greater still. What other options are you considering? I’ve heard about the State Fairgrounds as a possibility.
Prince Corbett
01:17:39
How are we looking at long-term causes of homelessness, what affordable housing are being offered?
Alexis Kramer, FFTS
01:17:52
Another concern is people do not want to be in shelters if they are being runned by people who do not know what it's like to be homeless or don't know how to treat people who have mental health.
Prince Corbett
01:18:04
How long can people stay as they begin to transition out of homelessness?

Don't forget about CPS when it comes to opening the shelter for people. I do not want to see anyone left behind! Thank you all for your hard work
Alexis Kramer, FFTS
01:57:40
I do not want to see people die either
Richard
01:57:42
Thank you for a much better managed meeting than previously. Past meetings have had commissioners and county manager continuously push the term “anchor tenant” - please give a cohesive answer as to what this means and how it lines up with the statement that you won’t be there for more than two years.
Johnny Stoll
01:57:44
Thanks for that clarification.
Commissioner Toni Carter
