what does it mean when a drug is “fast tracked”? does it skip phases or just move more quickly through them? example: Ibrance was fast tracked and I was able to start it sooner after (thankfully).
Follow on to Alice’s question, is the situation she is describing also referred to as “compassionate use”?
Can you leave a trial at any time?
Do people generally only look for trials when they are out of treatment options? Or are some trials looking to “add” additional therapies / treatments?
I miss Carol too! so glad she found you Christine! Carol will always continue to touch our lives!
Christine! what a great website!! such valuable information!
Yes she does. She’s a busy lady. :)
Christine, on your website, I can’t check some boxes - is that by design? for example, I couldn’t choose BRCA+ after picking HR+ & HER2- and ER+ & PR+
Thank you so much for sharing Shelia McGlown
Thank you for sharing your experience, Sheila!
Yes, thank you so much for participating!
Sheila is such an amazing ambassador for the AA community and she is contributing so much to research which as she said will help many more breast cancer patients beyond just herself
Thank you. We are in this together.
Yes it is.
Alice- it automatically filters out trials as you check boxes, but I was able to checkable the boxes you mentioned
Sorry my screenshot sent before my message , see screenshot above
thank you Christine!
Thank you so much Brenna.
This is a great resource for oncologists who are looking to request compassionate use for a patient
Many don’t know about it, so feel free to share it with your oncologists if you find yourself in a situation where you may need to request access
thank you presenters and Gina!
Feel free to reach out to me as well on my website! TheStormRiders.org
