How would you respond to business criticism that the CTA rules would require overly burdensome reporting for many businesses (w/ many seeking greater exemptions)?

The AICPA has complained that the CTA rules' definitions of beneficial ownership are too broad and complex (specifically taking issue with "substantial control" and "direct or indirect exercise of control" and "ownership interests"). Thoughts on this criticism?

While the fundamental responsibility for eliminating the sources of IFFs rests with the governments of African States, the mechanisms for moving Illicit financial flows often involve non-African private and public actors and are sometimes the result of policies and laws adopted by intergovernmental bodies and governments outside of Africa. What direct move is the U.S. system making to stop this?
