* standing also! *

01:49:27
I love this so much. THANK YOU! One of the narratives I struggle to get beyond, however, is that "power does not concede willingly." How do we get the, primarily white male, power holders to understand that these wounds are deep, and shared, and need to be healed? How do we get them to see we're, literally, deathly ill?

01:49:45
Thank you Bandy!!

01:50:00
so fulfilling. thank you Brandy so much

01:50:20
THANK You! How do we deal with collective and personal trauma when we are constantly being afflicted with new trauma?

01:53:04
Brandy's stories of healing, as a metaphor and in the reality of her mom's trauma was so informative and inspiring. It's like Brandy tapped into the universal energies, understanding how our lives are connected. Each giving what they can, such as the doctors and nurses who cared for mom, and how the great migration of black people out of the south was draining the labor and strength away from oppression towards fulfillment. That was then, and now, maybe black people can re-occupy the southern territories. Strengthened and made whole to support those who stayed and could not migrate.

01:53:06
Thank you! Mil gracias.

01:55:24

Food is medicine. Cooking food is an act of love. Love is the medicine our spirits need.
