Just wanted to share that we are a university licensee and our license holder will not let us use Stripe. They see significant PCI issues with Stripe. I have shared this initiative with them, but Stripe remains a non-starter with them. We have absolutely no way around it. What are the plans for stations that will be prohibited from using Stripe? Are we dead in the water?

Great point Will, WUWM might be in the same situation.

If I recall correctly, the PCI issue relates to Sustaining gifts vs. one-time donations...just an fyi for future discussion.

KUOW and Caryn Mathes is one example of a university licensee that has found a way forward with Stripe. She has offered to talk to a station experiencing difficulties.

@Will I think we are going to get around it by going through our university foundation. I don't know if that helps you.

@Leora, what if one of the stations in a multi-station market does not follow up on the leads? Then what happens to the donor?

I'd suggest a work group do a sprint on this.

One thought for Friday's discussion if we are out of time today...related to the Entry Point slide; if one key objective relates to building individual station member files, the CDP "filter" should include a list of prospects, not just active and lapsed members.
