I applied for the SBA Loan March 24th Funds were gone before I was able to received the funds. Do I need to reapply?
Michelle
52:46
Do you need to limit group sizes to 10? Do you need to wear masks?
michelle whittaker
52:49
Could someone give an example of how to successfully social distance in a classroom setting?
katelyn Dennis
52:57
I just saw the $10,000 pending in our bank account today, I never got a confirmation. If this helps anyone
Michelle
53:33
Has anyone had an reported cases among the families you are serving?
Amanda Weaver
53:36
How are classrooms that are open running? Do you allow max number of children in classrooms or limit it to only 5 or so children per classroom. Also are you keeping one primary teacher to a room to avoid mixing staff/children and germs?
Becky Parton
53:55
I'm curious if people have decided to continue to charge parents (full or partial) and if yes or no, why? How is that going?
michelle whittaker
54:05
Are parents allowed in the buildings?
Leanna Lorden
54:50
What types of information went out to families re: new procedures/policies?
Lara Quiroga
55:03
Keep in mind that the ~45K licensed capacity doesn't equate to how many slots were actually filled before COVID. Some programs never enroll to capacity because of ratios by age, limits on group size, some because of NAEYC accreditation, etc. And more recently some classrooms in programs were closed because of staffing shortages given the low unemployment rate and industry pay
Amanda Weaver
55:28
Also are centers limited children at the center still to only essential personal or are children there from parents who are working from home and can’t care for the kids
Sandra Hogan
56:14
PTAN is still available if needed doing distance consultation.
katelyn Dennis
56:26
Yes, as of now programs are technically not allowed to open for nonessential families
Roxanne
57:04
I am closed. Charging 50% tuition to hold spot and receive weekly activity kits. So far this is going well. Most parents chose to pay the 50%. I am struggling with the decision of whether or not to reopen.
Alyssa Belanger
57:05
To reopen a closed center, do you have to be a licensed ECCP or can you reopen for existing families under your normal license?
katelyn Dennis
57:47
yes, at the moment you have to apply for the ECCP license
katelyn Dennis
57:59
this could change soon, we are unsure
Katy Aveni
58:03
Becky, I have been charging 25% of regular tuition to keep their children enrolled. Most parents have been very receptive and thankful.
Katy Aveni
59:36
Sandra, what is the contact information for PTAN?
Linda Brady
01:00:24
Our Center has potential for 49--- we are currently at 18.... received PPP and some of our children are state scholarship which is helpful. We have spread our children out at learning times and used games that keep them at social distancing. We did close one classroom because 50% of our staff opted to stay home "until further notice". We began a discussion today with our team about what re-engagement will look like for parents, for students, for staff.
Sandra Hogan
01:01:17
PTAN can be reached at 603-206-6833. Our admin will call you back quickly
michelle whittaker
01:01:34
thank you linda how many children in each class and do you combine age groups?
Katy Aveni
01:01:41

Michelle-- we have about 6 kids per classroom. we have newborn -23 months; 2-4 year olds; 5-8 year olds… we send out only one group to the playground at a time... stopped parents from going into classrooms... children ushered back to classroom.
Stacey
01:03:52

lmencis
01:04:22
I am hoping to open on May 18th. Will I still be able to become an ECCP? Will I have access to the supplies other centers have received this week?

MICHELLE-- Our children doing well--- temps every morning-- we talk about "missing our friends" -- doing facetime with friends. We give them space for questions each week in chapel and daily in class. We have also sent home curriculum for the children who have opted to stay home. And we have had children do acts of service to think of others-- have done 2 projects sent to a local nursing home-- they loved this! One time did cards for residents and the second time we sent everyone rainbows for their windows.

I have been closed since March 16th and was charging my families 1/2 tuition for the first 3 weeks and then made the choice to not charge them. I felt bad to charge them without physically having their children in attendance even though majority was their choice to keep their children home.

01:21:29
In the beginning, we were grateful for anything parents were willing to do. I have actually told people to not pay me if their children are not coming. I feel awful charging for a service I am not providing. We have stayed open the whole time, with limited income.
