Getting my question in early! 7 weeks old baby. I nurse her to sleep then hold her for 20 mins as previously advised to ensure she's properly asleep. I put her in the next to me crib on her back and she stays asleep for 3 mins then starts grunting and straining and eventually cries hard enough to wake herself up. Then the cycle begins again. My nipples are so sore and I'm so tired. It's hard to cope - please help?

With my 2 yrs old we do his bedtime routine but in the last nearly 2 months he wakes up in the middle night crying and wanting boobies. Also in the las 3 evening he doesn’t want to go to his cot but he falls sleep in the beanbag.later on we have to move him to his cot. Do you think we need to remove the side of the bed?!

Any thoughts about using an infant pillow to prevent flat heads?

What age do you stop having a newborn mentality of them sleeping and waking whenever they want, and start thinking about putting them down for naps at determined times?

Just to clarify (as there’s a lot of conflicting information out there), I think you said daytime naps should be in the dark? Thank you :)

How can you have an early bedtime with an under 6 month old when the recommendation is that they should never sleep on their own without an adult in the room for more than 10 mins? Do you have to have a super early bed time too?

My 8mo old wakes up too early (for my liking :) ) often before 6 a.m. We try to put her to bed around 7pm but it takes about more than an hour for her to settle, so maybe overtired. Should we try to put her to bed earlier? wouldn't this make her wake up even earlier? Also she doesn't nap unless she's in her bed. Most days she's naps in her bed - 2 naps about 1h-1:30-2h each nap sometime between 10-12 and 2-4

sorry, I was not here for the whole talk, so may have already been answered. my 10 month old is sleeping well, but now wakes up at around 3/4 in the morning and completely awake. requires noise/rocking for an hour before sleeping again. nursing is not helping him fall back asleep. any ideas?

26 mo taking an hour to fall asleep at 8pm, walking to and fro, and then wakes at 1am and is awake again for 2 hours - is this a regression or just bad sleep habits?
