5years post MNIQS is a prerequisite for being a supervisor. are we sure our senior colleagues will have this time to follow up on all this for 52 weeks? My opinion is that the person should at least have 2 years post- MNIQS

@2030 Once you have completed your upgrade to probationer, then you should follow the portal, select supervisor, pass stage one and two logbook assessment then enter to write exams.

To get a Probationer number, you need to register as a Probationer with the Institute. Details are the Institute's website.

this is really impactful...For candidates who's registration has been approval for a year or two before the digital logbook process began, but have not commenced filling out the logbook, because he/she has not paid up the required fees, can such a candidate filling activities he has been saving up.

@Emmanuel - You cannot fill in arears. You should only fill from the current year.

If supervisor has submitted, the candidate can reach out to NIQS for a reset asap. The system doesn't recognise forgiveness but permit candidate to start all over again using the right start date.

No more analogue submission, kindly login to portal and use recent date for your activities.

Candidate can only fill recent activities and not back date record to 2 years or as at the time the application was approved. once you make payment and have access to portal, the system still permit 6 months before and not two years citing date when application was approved. Digital system approves recent activities and not stale information or activites of over a year
