What kind of regulations would you like to see?
would you loose your gun rights to own or buy in the future
Your Bill 2374 and others the come up, what happens not if BUT when Phillip Morris wants into the industry here in Virginia?
Briefly, why is the 2021 session only 30 days with so many important decisions on the table?
What kind of license fees do you foresee to enter into growing, processing, and retailing marijuana?
I would like to see non brick and mortar delivery services. In the age of COVID, many people rely on delivery services. Massachusetts has very recently added delivery services and the voters are very happy about it. Could we take a look at that model and consider it?
Since this an ultra-short session, what are the deadlines for the submission of Bill ideas?
with testing, what kind will we see? ie: cannabinoid kinds and levels. As well as terpenes...kinds and amounts. Terpenes are medically helpfull as well.
Of the tax revenues from cannabis, what are BOTH of your ideas about - in terms of a specific percentage - will be allocated to impacted communities?
Will those with minor cannabis charges see thier records cleaned?
When discussing equity, please consider allowing cannabis cafes. Many people that are low income rent and are not allowed to smoke in their home and having a place to go near their homes to smoke (bring your own style) means people do not need to smoke on the street and offers business opportunities for small businesses.
Will we see delivery service. Especially for those that can not drive due to thier medical issue?
what about caregivers?
Dylan, I think you need to unmute me. Thanks!
Can we keep this a small buisness market? Not "allow" large corporations like big pharma come in and take over.
Can we find a way to use and not waste “hot hemp?” Maybe allow sales to the rec. program rather than destroying a crop?
We need to talk about home cultivation and why a robust program is necessary and important
why not use hemp that test hot for hempcrete production instead of burning it?
How much in tax will we see When we legalize adult use of cannabis. Or even with hemp products?
In regards to recreational cannabis permitting, how do you foresee the permitting process work? limited number of permits? slow roll out over time? or wide open, free market approach?... fees similar to mmj in VA application? or fees similar to hemp?

Thank you, Sir for answering my question about “Hot Hemp”. That’s fantastic
What are the issues/problems with horizontal integration, which will be a LOT more friendly for Black interested in getting into the business and small producers?
Allowing the medical dispensaries to open before small businesses is not in the best interest of small businesses in other states. Allowing them both to open for recreational sales at the same time would basically illuminate possible delays for small businesses which leave them behind.
Are you all suggesting that part of ABC Boards' involvement will be to sell cannabis products in ABC Stores?
Please do not make it mandatory to have a driver’s licenses to tag home cultivation grows. Some people that have seizures and other conditions do not drive.
you can get a state ID if no Div Lic
yes. It should be worded that driver’s license or state issued ID
Assuming that an adult use recreational bill passed, do you see the legislation requiring localities to initially default in - until they elect locally to opt out?
CommentA has an opportunity to get
How do we mitigate over saturation and therefore price compression for these new businesses but also not limit the number permits to an unreasonable level. Where do you think this balance lies? Certain number of permit? Open market approach? Permits issued on metrics?
what about the concept of boutique cannabis grows akin to breweries and wineries once legalized?
good luck and thank u
Thank you Erin
Congrats on a set of really great bills. Virginia is moving fast!
Yes on cannabis cafes—in my opinion, but it may take time. Unsure on whether delivery would be provided for initially. Don’t see that as essential to get this started.
Thanks for looking out for Virginia businesses of all types!
Thanks for having us
It can’t be understated how valuable having the governor’s support for legalization is.
