Remember you can also drop questions into the chat box as we go!
does noble ranch use horses?
I have to go but thank you for the info!
Hi again Leah and Alexis! curious about housing- is it best to ask the rancher/mentor directly?
are there other Montana sites focused on coexistence with other animals (especially wolves) like J Bar L?
what is the average level of agricultural experience you see when people apply for apprenticeships? Do you see people with no ranching experience getting placed with apprenticeships?
Have all the site info pages been updated for 2021 already?
When does the registration for the 2021 year start?
Also - what kind of job placement do you tend to see post-apprenticeship?
after applying, is there a calendar date that you would hear back from the mentor if there will be a follow-up or not?
thanks so much!
Is Indian Ridge Farm still a site? Will they be accepting applications in the future?
I read that the focus is for people for whom this would be their first career. What chance would someone have of getting an apprenticeship if this is not their first career?
Mina, not my first career either.any bison opportunities?
If you have enough experience to know you enjoy and want to pursue regenerative ag in some way do you have an opinion on whether going to school for rangeland sciences first makes sense or doing an apprenticeship first? Which ranches are open to taking on families?
Does Quivira have connections to apprenticeship opportunities beyond cattle ranches? eg other types of livestock like sheep, vegetable production, etc.
Feels like a silly question but have apprentices ever been allowed to bring dogs
what is the selection process?
If I have a specific interest, like soil health or riparian restoration, and would like experience in that area, is that best put in the application somewhere?
how many people do you usually have apply and how many ultimately get an apprenticeship?
how is it handled if one person gets multiple offers?
that’s helpful thanks!
when does the official application open, and do you apply directly to ranchers or through the NAP program?
Alexis - NAP North
I’ve enjoyed reading the apprentice online interviews. I often find asking an employee at a company I’m interested in is really helpful. Are past/current “apprenti” available for informational interviews?
do most of these sites have good websites to learn more about them on?

thank you for your time!
thanks ladies! happy Halloween everyone!!
Thanks again! I’m sure I’ll follow up soon!
what is most fulfilling about the apprenticeship experience?
I'll probably send a follow up email to chat! I really appreciate what y'all are doing for this!
Thank you so much!
Thanks so much!
