I have many female editors …they are amazing and they support us the female reporters with kids well .. in return we work very hard too

We have space for two more questions. Michael, Jordan, attendees?
Lu Ortiz
01:12:40
Any one else?
Michael Oghia
01:13:45
No, Lu, nothing from me. But I’ll just add that it’s incredibly important for men to drive the change with other men, as Nicole is describing. The film “The Mask You Live In” is a great documentary, for instance.

An obstacle that I have to face is that everywhere I speak about human rights, I immediately become "the feminist". And that puts me in a place that I enjoy but that also limits me.

Mona abdelmaksoud 10:02 AMIn my opinion, the main obstacles are the self-confidence, women do not trust their abilities and a lot of times they underestimate their skills. In addition, chances of growth, for example exposing to different cultures, communicate with different cultuers, those are limited to women in the middle east

01:18:50
Sofie and all, some of the obstacles have to do with not being listened to because you are a woman, having to make a much greater effort than male colleagues to install an idea or do a job or get a leadership position. Being singled out, judged and scrutinized in a men's environment, enduring sexist and macho comments about your work or your private life in professional settings

One challenge is to be taken seriously.

Vanessa, es un gran reto. Pero a mi me ha funcionado apelar a construir colectividad, dejar mi ego de lado y escuchar. No es fácil.
