The series can only award the type of credit it has been approved for. An application has to be on file for each type of credit.

To add a little clarification to Jonell's note about professions and credit that can be awarded. If the activity is approved for AMA credit only and a nurse attends, even though they are a nurse they would get participation credit not nursing credit since the activity was not approved for nursing.

The beauty is speakers only have to fill out one disclosure per year. The system tracks it!!!! It reminds them after 1 year to go in and update it. They can speak at multiple events and the system retains their disclosure.

Yes - disclosures are retained in the system. When you type in their name, if there is one in the system it will alert you.

You can set up a profile using any e-mail. Our U colleagues can set up a profile using their hsc.utah.edu e-mail.

Affiliated physicians and clinicians will be in the system using their imail2 account. If they don't use that account, they will need to set up a separate profile using their University of Utah e-mail for example.

The system will start "fresh". No data migration. If you need a transcript prior to June 23rd then you can contact the IPCE office and we will provide it. We keep our records for six years.
