As someone who was violently attacked by a vagrant lady at the end of March, in Santa Monica, and nothing was done, the contradictions in this message are not in alignment. Chief-I very, very much welcome a candid conversation.

I think Phil's idea of getting 2 more homeless team members out on nights and weekends is a really good idea!

What is the ordinance regarding the proposed medical cannabin shop on 14th and Wilshire, within a BLOCK of Lincoln Middle School? And why is there no signage so the community can voice their opposition?

For Phil: The Oceana Hotel at 851 Ocean Avenue has been a terrible neighbor for years. Now, they are applying to expand their services by applying for a CUP in order to open their restaurant to the public, which would wreak havoc on its neighbors in Wilmont. How do you feel about their plans? Are you open to hearing from us about how they regularly disturb our reasonable expectation of peace and quiet?

Do you walk here at 5am while they are receiving deliveries?

I reported them to the police YESTERDAY for receiving an illegal delivery.

There was also a sign on a vacant storefront at 1416 Wilshire. I have a photo of the proposed permit notice before it was taken down. I have no problem only that it is so close to a school.

Glad to see a business that will help people that are suffering come to Santa Monica.
