We've had choir hybrid rehearsals and same response... Zoomers are grateful to be able to hear SATB & accomp plus see conductor on screen, rather then just hearing one voice or the accomp and one voice

The harp camp and harp group work well for me. I have taken part on zoom and I enjoyed. I was going to be present in person at the harp group yesterday but it was not possible and I ended up on zoom played from my phone to my car radio, not ideal, but it worked. I enjoyed the session. I’ve been in other zoom sessions - a lot less driving for me and I get to see others and I take part in the music.

I agree with all Andy says. I play the music through before the session so I know what is there but I listen to Andy and follow his instructions.

I agree... Yarra Valley Singers has committed to continuing Zooming in the future for members who are unwell or can't attend for other reasons. It's also useful because sessions are recorded and available for people to access for a week for anyone who wants to review a session.

I am having erhu lessons on Facebook messenger, another platform. This is a new instrument to me, my fist bowed instrument, and I enjoy the lessons. Andy is right in saying that there has to be teacher time and student time. I am happy with this.

I am learning erhu from someone in Adelaide through the School of Chinese music and arts.

I love arrangements and different parts. El Choclo was great because there were three parts.

I wasn’t convinced about singing but I have been won over to this approach.

I like having the 10:30 start - I can catch up with the others, particularly Maureen in Tasmania and Rosa in Spain. I love seeing everyone.

I’m in the library, zoom playing through my hearing aids.
