We'll be away for ten days over Xmas and don't have a tap timer. We will be back and forth every 3 days or so. How can I retain moisture in the garden on the veggies?
we did that afew years ago, and saved the garden , not being watered for 3 weeks..
For indoor plants can put a bucket of water on a chair and let ropes or paper strips fall down into the soil of the pots. The capillarity will drive the water down

should we bring in more worms?
The soil on my property is construction site clay, with ~5cm of topsoil/composted leaves, I'm not seeing any worms or life besides ants, beetles and spiders. I'm starting to improve the soil since moving in, can I expect worms to find their way in, or do I need to get them from somewhere?
similar to ours, my partner has composted and dug nearly all our soil, we have some good trees and flowers growing now

Where to buy sheep manure?
How do you grind the charcoal?
Seaweed for organic matter too :)

I add my coffee grounds to water, collect and then pour on garden - is that OK?
Thanks for answering :)
Sorry if off-topic, but on the back of charcoal question from Jon, are eggshells beneficial for soil? Also, what about bones? Any way to make them “soil-digestible”?
